Bamboo Bridge

Crossing the Mekong to Khmer Villages

Boaters getting ready for the approaching rain season

The bridge washes away every raining season as the river rises leaving boats as the only access for the Khmer villagers
Bamboo strips flexes about a foot with a noisy clatter of bamboo as our car crosses
The bridge is rebuilt every year
